Driftwind Electrical was established in 1999 as an Electrical contracting business in Brisbane and entered into the Solar supply & installation market in 2008, around the time that Govt rebates were introduced to assist consumers to decrease the cost of going Solar and help reduce our CO2 output and help save the planet.
Since then, the most common question asked of me is, what would be the best solar panels, for my home or business?” It’s an obvious and expected question for home and Business owners to ask. To answer fairly, I respond with my own question. Is cost a determining factor? If so, there is one answer, If not there are two. Everyone has an opinion, with some more qualified than others to comment. I recently read an article that I whole-heartedly agree with written by a well-known, well credentialed Solar enthusiast who has been active in the Solar Industry for some time. A question was posed to around 400 Installers who have good reputations in the Industry as to their personal choice of panels they would Install on their own property if cost was not an issue. 4 panels were chosen. In alphabetical order they were LG, REC, Sunpower, and QCells. All of which are more expensive options and in most Installers opinions not really worth the additional cost as the ROI does not warrant the added expense, with warranties of little difference to what is generally available on the market. The same question was raised as to their personal choice of panels they would Install on their own property if cost was an issue. Response was three brands all of exceptional quality and great value for money, again in Alphabetical order the top three were Jinko, Longi and Trina. Personally I had a choice of all seven panels and looking at bang for buck, I chose Jinko for personal use and they have been serving me well for over 7 years without any problems. At Driftwind Electrical we sell and install each of the 7 brands mentioned and by far in number our clients have opted for the Jinko as the panel of their choice after researching quality, performance, reputation, and cost. If you are looking for Solar and need expert advice please feel free to contact us for assistance and information on any panel brand as we are only too pleased to help. At Driftwind we value our reputation so only offer the best in products and after sales service. We choose panels that will perform well, will last the distance, and are cost effective. We do this by choosing products from manufacturers and suppliers that have reputations and history warranty on their products and that is all we sell. So, should I buy Jinko Solar Panels?
From Solar Choice’s perspective Jinko Solar Panels strike a good balance between a trustworthy and reputable brand and affordability. Jinko offer a good range of panels including their affordable Cheetah Series and their premium Tiger Series which offer industry leading technology and warranties. Jinko Solar panels also have a proven track record on residential and commercial projects in Australia for over 10 years, so our opinion is you can’t go wrong with Jinko. |
