The Driftwind SP2000 storage package converts your current system from a Grid-tied Solar System to a Hybrid Solar System.  

"Hybrid Solar is a typical pv system with the addition of batteries (storage), often used to store excess power so that it can be used to offset peak load or night-time use. It is generally not intended to take a household “off-grid’ but in many cases it has the capability to do so. Hence “the freedom from Energex” and rising electricity tariffs and pricing."

What this means is you can add the Driftwind SP2000 storage package to work with your existing Inverter, without having to upgrade to a whole new “Hybrid System”, this includes 5kW useable battery storage (capacity of storage can be expanded to suit energy consumption)

The cost for this is $6,820.00 inc. GST fully installed.
