Queensland Feed In Tariff Explained

On Monday 25 June, the Queensland Government announced a reduction of over 80% to the current Feed In Tariff.

"The Queensland Solar Bonus Scheme feed-in tariff will reduce from 44 cents per kilowatt hour to 8 cents per kilowatt hour for all new customers from midnight on 9 July 2012. Existing Scheme customers will continue to receive the 44 cents per kilowatt hour tariff provided they maintain their eligibility for the Scheme." - Queensland Government Website

If your 'Application to Connect' was approved...

On or Before 9 July 2012

• You can change who installs the system
• You can reduce the size of the system
• The system must be installed by 30 June 2013.
